Sliding gate operator’s main control board – BFT (Deimos)

The BFT Deimos Control Board is one of the best sliding gate operators’ main control boards.

BFT Deimos BT Ultra A600 sliding gate operator replacement control unit is designed for the BFT sliding gate operators.

Control board for DEIMOS BT to be used as a spare part. This control unit has a built-in receiver for the remote controls MITTO2 and MITTO4, with the possibility to store up to 63 remote controls. The display makes it easier to program and the diagnostics.

This control unit replaces the older QSC, which didn’t have a display but only a red LED and a green LED.

The main control board for the BFT (Deimos) sliding gate operator is the BFT Merak SL1 or SL2. This control board manages the operator’s functions, including motor control, safety features, and programming. The Merak control board is designed for easy installation and programming, often featuring a display for diagnostics and settings. It also includes a built-in receiver for remote controls and supports features like slowdown, automatic closing, and pedestrian passage.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
  • Merak Control Board:
The Merak SL1 or SL2 is the central processing unit for the Deimos operator. It handles the logic for opening, closing, and managing various safety features.

  • Integrated Receiver:
The control board often includes a built-in two-channel receiver for remote controls, allowing users to control the gate remotely.

  • Programming and Diagnostics:
The Merak control board features a display that simplifies programming and diagnostics, allowing for easy setup and troubleshooting.

  • D-Track Technology:
Many BFT Deimos operators utilize D-Track technology, which provides precise torque management and impact reaction, enhancing safety and reliability.

  • Safety Features:
The control board manages various safety features, such as obstacle detection, which can reverse the gate’s movement in case of obstruction, and slow down during opening and closing.

  • Power Supply:
The control board typically operates on a 24V power supply, making it suitable for a range of residential and light commercial applications.

Exit Button SQTPB801

An Exit push button, also known as a push-to-exit button, is a device used in access control systems to allow individuals to exit a secured area without needing to use their access credentials.
It's a simple, user-friendly button that, when pressed, temporarily unlocks or releases the door, enabling quick and easy egress. These buttons are commonly found near exit doors in buildings, especially those with magnetic locks or other electronic locking mechanisms.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
  • Function:
An exit push button is wired to the access control system and, when pressed, sends a signal to release the door's locking mechanism, allowing a person to exit.
  • Purpose:
They provide a convenient and safe way to exit a secured area, especially in emergencies or when other access methods (like card readers) might not be available.
  • Types:
Exit push buttons can be traditional mechanical buttons or touchless sensors that activate when a hand is waved in front of them.
  • Importance:
These buttons are crucial for meeting fire and building codes, as well as ensuring accessibility for all individuals.
  • Applications:
Exit push buttons are used in various settings, including commercial buildings, residential complexes, and industrial facilities.
